John Gibson Joins GES USA as Chief Executive Officer
On May 21, 2010 GES USA, announced the appointment of John J. Gibson as CEO. John has over 25 years of Power Industry experience in the following technologies: renewable energy, nuclear, gas turbine combined-cycle, generator, coal, and hydro-electric power. He is passionate about obtaining optimal results and utilizes a contemporary leadership style that has allowed him to build and motivate high performing teams. His energy and enthusiasm drive him to support his team and helps ensure that target goals are met.
Prior to joining GES, John was Manager of Wind Energy Product Service Engineering with GE (General Electric). As Manager of Wind Energy Product Service Engineering, he managed a global team of over 150 engineers and focused on availability, reliability, and conversion modifications and updates.
John graduated from State University of New York Maritime College where he received a Bachelors of Engineering. He also received a Masters in Business Administration from Monmouth University.
